Vins-sur-Caramy is set in the green inland Var. For most outings, a car is strongly recommended—it’s the easiest way to reach nearby villages, markets, lakes and nature spots.

By car

Roads are generally good, but often rural and winding—think in driving time rather than kilometres. Parking is usually available in or near village centres, though it can be busier on market days.

Cycling & walking

Beautiful routes, with regular elevation changes and narrow roads. An e-bike is ideal, especially in warmer months.

Taxis / public transport

Taxis are limited: book in advance (including your return). Public transport is generally not practical for day trips in this area.
